Jonesboro animal lovers, please be aware that your beloved companions, your dogs, can be terribly upset by the sound of fireworks. In some cases, dogs have been able to climb over fences or dig under them in trying to escape the sound. If your dogs stay outside, the safest thing you can do for them is to contain them in a utility room, etc., for this short period of time. Also, remember that in the heat of July they need plenty of cool water, inside or outside.
