Jonesboro is experiencing a hot week and I just want to remind everyone to be sure their animals have plenty of cool water (mine prefer ice) and also that it’s not a good idea to take them for very long walks in the heat. Dogs cannot tell when they are over-heating and can get into trouble very quickly. And please, let them remain in a cool, shady environment instead of taking them to the Mall and leaving them in the car. Even with the windows open, the car can quickly become an oven. Just look in those dreamy eyes and you’ll know how much you are counted on for their protection.
