Jonesboro pet lovers, please heed the advice of the vets and others who care for animals. The forecast is for continued weather with temperatures nearing the 100 degree mark for the next week or so. It’s difficult if not impossible to keep animals safely outside during this heatwave, so if it can be done please allow them inside. If they are outside, provide cool water at least several times daily and plenty of shade. Our 4 dogs have a pet door and stay inside (yes, they are spoiled)and even they are pretty listless these days. This is not the time to take your pets for a car ride, so save that treat for cooler weather. Of course, never, never leave them in a car. Love them as they love you, with tender care.
