With a new mall, new restaurants, and crime up in the big cities around us, Jonesboro has been busy during the holiday season. Instead of driving to the cities, the citizens of northeast Arkansas and Southeast Missouri came to Jonesboro to do their shopping and eating. Traffic has been heavy for this city of 60,000, business is up, and even our real estate calls have increased. With over 70 banking institutions and a church on nearly every corner, Jonesboro is a friendly place to do business, and an excellent place to live. Arkansas State University, with nearly 10,000 students, is a big bonus for our city. Our school systems are good, too. Come give us a visit.
