Jonesboro is proud to be home to ASU’s Beck PRIDE Center for America’s Wounded Veterans. Through the generosity of Buddy and Charlotte Beck of Fairfax Station, Virginia, both ASU alumni, the PRIDE Center was established at ASU and housed in the College of Nursing and Health Professions. “PRIDE” stands for Personal Rehabilitation, Individual Development and Education, and will assist injured military personnel who will benefit through their services. The program helps serve the clients’ academic, social, and rehabilitative needs, as well as the needs of their families. Susan Tonymon is the Director of the Beck PRIDE Center and Dennis White, a veteran himself, is the Communications Director for the Center. What a wonderful program for a college to have, to support our returning servicemen and women. mkm
